We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy, customer-focused restaurant. This hands-on leadership role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, support and develop staff, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Lead, motivate, train, and support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, stock management, and sales analysis.
- Support marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and business development initiatives.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment for all team members.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a restaurant management or similar hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
