Singing Teacher (Musical Theatre/Pop)
Lingfield College Music Department is seeking a passionate and skilled peripatetic Singing Teacher to work in our Senior School, starting September 2026.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach individual lessons in all grades from beginner to diploma level specialising in Musical Theatre and Pop. Experience in teaching the ABRSM and LCM Musical Theatre syllabuses would be advantageous as the majority of students follow these courses. Piano skills to be able to accompany during lessons and rehearsals would also be desirable.
In addition to teaching and preparing students for their singing exams, the role also includes responsibilities in helping the department prepare for our annual Musical production. This would be in the form of running ensemble clubs, helping with our show choir, assisting with arrangements and staging ideas.
The role is currently for one day a week, but could well quickly expand to two, with a rate of £46 per hour.
