This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with legal accounts experience to join a professional and collaborative working environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the firm's finance function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate financial records. Working closely with senior management and colleagues across the firm, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of both office and client accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier, Accounts Assistant, or within a legal accounts environment.
- Good understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the importance of regulatory compliance.
- Experience processing and posting financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Experience dealing with both office and client account transactions.
- Ability to carry out office and client account reconciliations.
- Experience assisting with month-end procedures, office accounts, and ledger management.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Experience using legal accounting software and case management systems would be advantageous.
