Behaviour Mentor
We are seeking a caring, confident and committed Behaviour Mentor to support students in developing positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence and engagement with learning.
The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to help students overcome barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring and pastoral support to students.
- Help students develop positive behaviour, self-regulation and social skills.
- Support students who may experience challenges with engagement, confidence or emotional regulation.
- Build trusting and professional relationships with students.
- Work with staff to implement individual support and behaviour strategies.
- Monitor progress and contribute to appropriate records and feedback.
- Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an education, pastoral or behavioural support setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient and empathetic approach.
- Confidence managing challenging situations professionally.
- The ability to build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
- A genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
