As a Temporary Staffing Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Temporary Staffing Service across Bristol NHS Foundation Trust . You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing a professional, efficient and customer-focused service to bank workers, agency suppliers, managers and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include handling telephone and email enquiries, maintaining accurate records, updating staffing systems and supporting staffing allocation processes.
You will assist with the coordination and deployment of temporary staff, ensuring staffing requests are processed efficiently and in line with organisational policies and national guidance. This includes liaising with wards and departments, matching available workers to shifts, supporting the booking and movement of staff, and maintaining effective communication with all parties involved.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Temporary Staffing Team, contribute ideas for service improvement and ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with information governance requirements and Trust policies. This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, adaptability and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
