Responsibilities
- Welcome patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their treatment options
- Coordinate treatment plans by liaising between patients and the dental team, ensuring clarity and understanding of procedures and costs
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, providing high-quality nursing support and maintaining sterilization standards
- Educate patients on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices to promote long-term wellness
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Schedule appointments efficiently, balancing patient needs with clinic availability to optimize workflow
- Communicate clearly with patients in English, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy
Experience
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting, demonstrating strong communication skills
- Background in nursing or dental nursing, with relevant certifications or qualifications
- Familiarity with IT systems used for record-keeping and appointment scheduling in healthcare environments
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly and efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear understanding across diverse patient groups
