CNC Operator / Yard Person. 9am - 5: 30am. WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY.
We are seeking a new member of our small team to help produce oak frames and other components on our CNC machine at weekends, yard duties in the week.
Duties
- CNC operator at weekends. Hundegger K2i machine. Training provided.
- Loading/unloading timber.
- Goods in / out procedures.
- Occasional small deliveries on transit vehicle.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything already. We're looking for attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
Ideally, you'll have:
- An interest in carpentry, woodworking, engineering or manufacturing
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Basic maths and measurement skills
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling when required
The following would be beneficial but are not essential:
- Carpentry or woodworking experience
- Workshop or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude or machinery experience
- Forklift licence or materials handling experience
Full training can be provided for the right candidate.

- Reliable and good timekeeping.
- Use of power tools and carpentry experience is essential.
- Basic maths skills.
- Experience in materials handling, including heavy lifting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not essential; training may be provided for suitable candidates.
