Job Title: Quran and Islamic Studies Teacher (Male)
Location: Al Ansar Quran Academy
Job Overview: The Academy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in Quranic recitation, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies.
The successful candidate will work with students in two age groups: 6–9 years and 10–15 years, ensuring a supportive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Quranic instruction with a focus on fluent recitation and precise Tajweed.
Identify and correct recitation mistakes efficiently using effective pedagogical techniques.
Implement the Academy's Islamic Studies curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging and age-appropriate.
Maintain a professional and encouraging classroom environment.
Strictly adhere to the Academy's safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements:
Fluency in Quranic recitation with a mastery of Tajweed rules.
Proven ability to teach and correct students in a constructive manner.
Excellent communication skills tailored for children and adolescents.
A strong commitment to professional conduct and student safeguarding.
Prior experience in an educational or community setting is preferred.
Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays: 9:50 AM – 12:50 PM
Mondays through Thursdays: 4:50 PM – 7:05 PM
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate: £13 – £16 per hour, depending on skills and experience
