Full-Time Position | Two Saturdays Per Month
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and professional Lead Dental Receptionist to become the driving force behind our front-of-house team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident reception professional who enjoys leading by example, creating exceptional patient experiences, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy dental practice.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in shaping their journey while supporting the clinical and management teams to deliver outstanding care.

| Monday | Alternating shifts: 8:30am – 6:00pm or 10:00am – 7:00pm
| Tuesday | 8:30am – 6:00pm
| Wednesday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
| Thursday | 8:30am – 6:00pm
| Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
| Saturday | Two Saturdays per month

Your Responsibilities
As our Lead Receptionist, you will:
* Lead and coordinate the day-to-day reception function
* Deliver a warm, professional, and exceptional patient experience
* Manage appointment diaries efficiently to maximise practice performance
* Support clinicians in maintaining smooth and productive schedules
* Handle patient enquiries, concerns, and escalations with confidence and professionalism
* Assist with training and supporting reception team members
* Monitor and improve front-of-house systems, processes, and patient communications
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, NHS requirements, and practice policies
* Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team to maintain excellent operational standards
* Drive reception performance and maintain high standards of patient service
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Dental Receptionist
* Strong understanding of NHS and private dental patient journeys
* Experience using dental practice management software
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* Professional, positive, and patient-focused approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Previous experience supporting or mentoring a reception team
* Experience with appointment optimisation and diary management
* Knowledge of treatment coordination and patient conversion processes
