Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a practical and detail-focused Workshop Technician to join our friendly and experienced team at our workshop in Audenshaw.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- No weekend working as part of the standard working week
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, assembling and repairing HGV wheel hub components
- Carrying out drilling, tapping and other mechanical workshop operations
- Operating workshop machinery, hand tools and lifting equipment
- Completing job sheets, inspection checklists and quality documentation
- Working closely with other departments to maintain an efficient workflow
- Ensuring all work meets the company’s quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years’ practical mechanical experience or knowledge
- At least three years’ experience within a workshop or engineering environment
- Competence in drilling and tapping
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A safety-conscious and responsible attitude
- Good communication and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with HGV components or wheel hub assemblies would be helpful, but it is not essential, as product-specific training will be provided.
