We're looking for someone who understands construction, enjoys solving problems,
and can manually build accurate, commercially sound estimates from drawings,
specifications and experience.

The Role
You'll be responsible for securing profitable work by:
✔ Producing accurate manual estimates
✔ Measuring directly from drawings
✔ Building labour, plant and material costs
✔ Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
✔ Preparing professional tender submissions
✔ Identifying project risks and opportunities
✔ Supporting pre-construction activities
You'll also proactively identify opportunities through:
- Find a Tender
- Proactis
- B2B Tender Portals
- Framework opportunities
- Existing and new client relationships
This is not just an estimating role.
You'll become a key part of the future growth of JMKB Construction.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
✔ Has previous construction estimating experience
✔ Can manually estimate projects (without relying solely on estimating software)
✔ Understands residential and commercial construction
✔ Has priced extensions, refurbishments and new build projects
✔ Enjoys solving commercial problems
✔ Is organised and detail focused
✔ Communicates confidently with clients and subcontractors
✔ Wants to be part of a growing business rather than just another number

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
