Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester (QA Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software releases. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure quality before release.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain test documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in software testing (or freshers with strong QA knowledge are welcome, if applicable).
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of API testing using Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
