Overview
We are seeking dedicated Bank Day & Night Care Assistants to join our compassionate team. This role offers flexible shifts, allowing you to provide vital care and support to residents during both daytime and overnight hours. The ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents' lives.
Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, respecting their dignity and preferences.
- Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Support residents' emotional well-being through engaging conversations and companionship.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment at all times.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and report any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Valid driving license is desirable for roles involving transportation or outings.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care plans are required.
- Ability to work flexibly across day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality person-centered care.

From £13.14 - days
From £13.94 - nights
Wage increases for level 2 & 3 in care
