Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within our nursery setting. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental milestones.
- Supervise and assist children during play, learning, and meal times, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Support the implementation of the preschool’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety protocols.
- Assist with the organisation of preschool activities, outings, and special events to enrich children's experiences.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the preschool environment to ensure it remains welcoming, stimulating, and safe.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a childcare or nursery setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Childcare qualifications at Level 3 or higher recognised within the UK early years sector.
