Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Keep track of stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a focus on serving or bartending roles
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy hours
- Organised, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage presentation is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
