Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness and food safety compliance
- Deliver outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing guest needs promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary arts is desirable training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Friendly, professional manner with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
