Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and down-to-earth Kitchen Porter to join our team at Love Lane Brewery, Bar & Kitchen. Serving hearty pub classics and creative specials 5 days a week, the ideal candidate will have strong background in ensuring the pot wash area of the kitchen is run efficiently and smoothly. We would love our candidate to have an understanding of food production, cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Kitchen pot wash area, ensuring good levels of equipment is maintained
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with some food preparation duties, subject to skill level
- Monitor levels of detergent, cloths, blue roll etc
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Innovative and forward-thinking - this is not an old school kitchen.
- Experience in events would be a bonus.

Please note that the job is part time job with an 8 hour contract. Hours may flex up to cover holidays and busy periods but please only apply if you are happy with part time work.
