Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Chef/Barstaff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills and provide excellent service in a lively restaurant environment. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and bar areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Assist with organising reservations, table arrangements, and special event setups
- Engage with customers professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably within a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
- Personal presentation that reflects the professional image of the establishment

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
