About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team as a sub contractor for ongoing work in the Plymouth area. The role involves a variety of carpentry tasks on residential construction projects, with a focus on both structural and finishing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out 1st fix tasks including stud walls, joists, roof structures, and door frames.
- Perform 2nd fix duties such as skirting, architraves, door hanging, flooring, and kitchen fitting.
- Interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
- Own tools and PPE.
- CSCS card not required
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to read and work from drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay is dependant on skill and experience, this will be a self employed position.
