Our Inverkeithing depot is seeking a number of experienced, reliable and courteous bus and coach drivers who can deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess good road knowledge, excellent communication skills, and relevant driving experience.
FULL TIME POSTS
We operate coaches for a variety of passenger transport solutions throughout the country. This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, 5 days from 7.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate PCV vehicles in line with road traffic legislation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and mechanical soundness
- Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting where required
- Report mechanical defects or safety concerns promptly
- Smart appearance ensuring uniform compliance
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience of bus driving in a similar environment is desirable
- PCV Category D licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
- Digital tachograph card
- Familiarity with EU drivers’ hours regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of local road networks and traffic conditions
- Ability to reliably commute to Inverkeithing
- Competitive rate of pay of £14.80 per hour
PART TIME POSTS
Part Time Salaried position to cover school contacts from our depot in Inverkeithing, Fife.
Working School days only covering school transports both AM & PM Journey's
Position is salaried, 20 hours per week, paid weekly spread over 52 weeks of the year.
