Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Qualified Bank Staff member to join our childcare team. This role offers flexible working hours between 07:30am and 6:30pm.
Please note these are AHOC hours determined by the business` needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality childcare and early years education programmes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in organising daily activities that promote children's development, learning, and well-being.
- Supervise children during play, meal times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Lead small groups or individual sessions to support children's specific needs under supervision.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging educational activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour as required by organisational policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the setting, including risk assessments and hygiene protocols.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating leadership qualities and supporting junior staff members when necessary.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Childhood Education, or a related field recognised within the UK childcare framework.
- Proven experience working with children in nursery or early years settings.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of current childcare legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs is desirable.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to enable travel between different childcare locations as required.
