Thackeray Dental Care is a well-established, independently run, award-winning practice in Mansfield. We are looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern practice offering a wide range of treatments including implants, orthodontics, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, giving you the chance to expand your skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment
- Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and charts
- Carrying out decontamination duties
- Supporting reception when required
What We’re Looking For
- GDC registered Dental Nurse (required)
- Friendly, reliable and a strong team player
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Computer experience required
Working Hours
- 5 Day clinical week with a long day on a Monday
- Supporting reception as and when needed during busy periods.
- No routine weekend working. We operate a very occasional on-call rota (approximately once every two months). You'll be paid for the three-hour on-call period, whether you're called out or not, with any call-outs paid as additional hours on top.
