Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Prepare and pour beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system
- Restock bar supplies and manage inventory levels effectively
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables or seating areas as required
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons to enhance their experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving change accurately
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and adherence to licensing laws
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
