Role: Project Analyst
Location: Penrith, Cumbria
Salary: £28,500 - £34,000
Hours: 40 per week

We’re looking for a motivated Project Analyst to join our team in Penrith. This is a vital role to help connect our Client and Product teams within Map of Ag, supporting the delivery of impactful projects across a wide range of agricultural supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the role, you will be:
· Shaping project work plans that keep multiple programmes moving forward, from kick-off to delivery
· Working closely with Client Delivery Teams to capture, clarify and document key project requirements, ensuring they're translated accurately into specifications
· Designing clear, practical specifications for surveys, reports and project outputs that set teams up for success
· Defining the data requirements, sources and fields behind our surveys, reports and monthly datasets
· Running quality checks and testing to ensure surveys and reports are fit for purpose and perform as intended
· Spotting and fixing simple survey errors, and supporting the build of simple surveys within our systems
· Acting as a key connector between internal stakeholders, translating needs into accurate, efficient outcomes
· Giving clear, constructive feedback that helps colleagues refine their work, and logging issues for swift resolution
· Keeping our Jira project management boards accurate and up to date, so Client and Product Teams always have visibility on progress, blockers and next steps
· Collaborating to solve problems, improve task flows, and maintain clear documentation that keeps everyone aligned
Skills:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
Essential
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work delivered
· Analytical and structured approach to problem solving
· Good communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams
· A proactive and collaborative mindset
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and programmes, prioritising effectively
· Comfortable working with data and learning new systems quickly
· Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
· Clear written communication, for documenting specifications and feedback
· Interest in agriculture, sustainability and data-led projects
Desirable
· Experience using Jira or similar project management tools (training will be provided for the right candidate)
· A background or experience within agriculture or agricultural supply chains
· Experience with form/survey-building tools, ideally within farm management systems or similar platforms
