Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabric multi skilled Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. The successful candidate will carry out various works including but not limited to: plumbing works, decorating and general fabric repairs , minor electrical works ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Undertake general repairs including plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical works, plastering, building and decorating
· Assist our Air Conditioning, gas and Electricidal engineers on planned works
· Undertaking planned and reactive building maintenance tasks
· Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
· Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
· Provide excellent customer service and represent Aurora HVAC professionally at all times
· Accurately completing job reports, documentation, and updates via mobile devices
· Participate in weekend on-call rota
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Property Maintenance / Carpentry / Plumbing / Building Maintenance
- Strong multi-trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, decorating).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of air conditioning or refrigeration systems (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with multi-trade tasks (basic electrical knowledge advantageous)
- Knowledge of compliance testing and PPM schedules
- Basic electrical qualification
- IPAF / PASMA
