The Role
We're looking for a Laser Operator to run our laser cutting machines, working from technical drawings
to produce accurate parts to spec — keeping quality and throughput on track, and taking ownership
of your area on the shop floor.
■ Operate and monitor laser cutting machines in line with production schedules
■ Work from technical drawings to produce parts accurately and consistently
■ Set up machinery and select correct cutting parameters for accuracy and quality
■ Inspect and measure components, carrying out quality checks throughout
■ Manage materials, off-cuts, and organise completed components for the next stage
What We're Looking For
■ Experience operating a laser or similar in a sheet metal/manufacturing role
■ A methodical, detail-focused approach — precision and consistency are essential
■ Someone reliable who takes pride in getting it right and can work under pressure
■ A proactive attitude, willing to take ownership of your area
Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
