About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Line Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining excellent food standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to company standards
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef during busy service periods
- Ensure all food is stored, labelled, and rotated correctly (FIFO)
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
- Assist with prep lists, stock rotation, and daily cleaning tasks
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Report any equipment issues or shortages to management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Chef, Commis Chef, or similar role
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and pride in food presentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
