Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining efficient practice workflows. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support dental practice staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists
- Oversee the management of appointments, patient records, and billing processes to ensure smooth operations
- Implement and monitor practice policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Handle human resources functions including recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and staff development
- Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction through effective team coordination
- Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and equipment, coordinating with suppliers as necessary
- Organise staff schedules to optimise productivity while ensuring compliance with working hours regulations
- Uphold health and safety standards within the practice environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong management skills with a focus on team leadership and organisational efficiency
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments
- Previous dental experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with staff and patients
- Organised, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure
