Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for e-commerce and digital marketing strategies. Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create and deliver marketing email campaigns in collaboration with the Commercial Sales Lead and Email Manager, optimising content to drive revenue and engagement.
- Build, test, and deploy email campaigns using an Email Service Provider (ESP), ensuring best practices are followed for creation, segmentation and personalisation.
- Set up promotions and offers accurately on company eCommerce websites, covering offers from multiple channels including reader offers, sale-off-the-page (SOP), social media, PPC, and affiliate networks.
- Merchandise-offer landing pages using up-to-date product data, imagery, and pricing to optimise user experience and increase sales.
- Amend homepage offers, promotions and shopping basket incentives in line with agreed plans.
- Create social media adverts in line with brand guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous website optimisation, improving usability, customer journey, and conversion rates within the home & gardening sector.
- Support the day-to-day management and trading performance of the company’s eCommerce websites.
- Perform daily website checks to identify and resolve errors and improve customer experience.
- Respond promptly to internal queries regarding promotions and pricing, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Participate in team meetings to stay aligned on performance, priorities, and strategic developments.
- Deliver actions from meetings within agreed deadlines, ensuring accountability and timely execution.
- Communicate regularly with all team members to ensure day-to-day activities are completed successfully
- Communicate across departments to resolve issues relating to offer set ups.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- ‘A’ level or equivalent qualifications or experience in a similar role
- MS Office skills including Word and Excel
- Experience in a similar supporting administrative role or customer service/sales role
- Must be able to build a good rapport with colleagues.
- Communicate appropriately and effectively.

Pay: £24,784.50 per year
