We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Handyman/Carpenter to support the completion of a fire door replacement project in York.
The project involves the replacement of fire doors across seven residential buildings. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team of carpenters and decorators to ensure all works are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect work areas prior to commencement
- Carefully remove existing door sets
- Assist with the installation of new fire doors
- Install architraves, door stops, and associated joinery
- Carry out basic decoration works where required
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure all work areas are left tidy
Candidate Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Practical skills and experience in carpentry or general handyman work
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
