We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our small and friendly team at Vallebona & Vineria, a unique Italian and Japanese wine bar, delicatessen, and events business in the heart of Wimbledon Village.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen, takes pride in preparing beautiful food, and wants to learn more about Italian and Japanese cuisine.
About Us
Founded by an Italian husband and Japanese wife, Vallebona is a family-run business dedicated to sharing exceptional artisan food, wine, and hospitality. We source unique products directly from small producers across Italy and Japan and create memorable experiences through our wine bar, private events, catering, and retail business.
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our kitchen team with:
- Preparing ingredients for service
- Assembling sharing boards, charcuterie platters, and catering orders
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Supporting private events and wine tastings
- Learning about Italian and Japanese ingredients, recipes, and traditions
