Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and maintaining various metal components and structures in accordance with technical specifications. Initial contract of 3 months with the possibility of employment on a permanent basis
Rates will be negotiable depending on experience.
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding procedures to produce accurate fabrications
- Perform welding using various techniques such as FCAW and GMAW.
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using appropriate tools and machinery
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed on time
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or related mechanical roles with a strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as FCAW and GMAW
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality assurance processes
