Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the North East of England & Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clients’ fitness equipment in their own homes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service. The position requires travel to various client locations and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fitness equipment at client sites in accordance with company standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, minimising downtime for clients.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare detailed service reports, documenting work carried out, parts used, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all field activities.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge through ongoing training programmes.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical & mechanical systems relevant to our products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically under pressure.
- Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
