Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 am – 14:00 pm

The role:
We are looking for a Product Stability & Organoleptic Analyst to join our Laboratory team . In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the R&D and QA teams, including product monitoring, stability assessment, and shelf-life testing to ensure product quality and compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collect, label and manage samples (including those from 3rd party manufacturers)
- Where not prescribed, agree with the teams the testing requirements and parameters
- An understanding of legislative requirements for regions in to where sold
- Organise product tasting
- Organise product testing by both internal and external laboratories as required
- Raising PO’s for the testing
- Organising the stability rooms and keeping them orderly
- Writing justifications for shelf life release/ extension for new products or formats (for sign off by R&D and Quality)
- Inputting of information and management of relevant data systems
- Good laboratory practice ensuring their own Health & Safety and those around them
- Communication of findings & results to all relevant stakeholders
- Other laboratory duties as required including ah-hoc analysing
What you’ll need:
- Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in laboratory testing
- Experience within a food laboratory environment, ideally in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field, is desirable
- Knowledge of BRC standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications would be advantageous
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Well-organised, efficient, and methodical approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Quality-focused with a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to work across multiple systems
