Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Massage/beauty Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality treatments to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being and beauty treatments. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure an exceptional experience for each client.
Duties
- Deliver customised treatments based on client needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and tailor treatments accordingly
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences
- Promote additional wellness such as nail services or skincare when appropriate
- Ensure client comfort throughout the treatments and address any special requirements or sensitivities
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a level 3 qualified Beauty Therapist or relevant qualification recognised within the industry
- At least 2 years experience of employment within a salon (not including training)
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain treatments and procedures to clients
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and empathetic approach
- Good organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area
- Excellent time management
- Valid certification or licence to practise as a Massage and beauty Therapist in accordance with local regulations
- Professional demeanour with a commitment to ongoing personal development and industry best practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
