We are recruiting for an experienced DV Cleared Plumber / Pipefitter to join our client on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work across a range of commercial and industrial fit-out and refurbishment projects, in addition to supporting our client's prestigious nuclear and defence contract at AWE Plc, Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber/pipefitter holding active Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance to secure a long-term position with excellent earning potential, career progression and the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most secure and high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out domestic plumbing works within secure industrial and commercial environments.
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and associated pipework.
- Complete first and second fix plumbing installations.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Adhere to all security protocols and site procedures.
- Deliver work to a consistently high standard with minimal supervision.
Essential Requirements:
- Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance (essential)
- Level 2 Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter
Desirable:
- Previous experience working at AWE, MOD or other high-security government facilities.
- Experience within commercial, industrial or secure environments.
