Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, handling transactions with basic math skills
- Support team members during busy periods by serving customers efficiently and managing multiple tasks effectively
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Barista experience is highly desirable for crafting quality beverages quickly and confidently
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to assist with food preparation while adhering to hygiene standards
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and serve customers enthusiastically
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
