The Living Rainforest is looking for an organised and attentive Education Administrator with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, to join our team. The main duties will be to liaise with schools regarding their school trip bookings to the rainforest.
The Living Rainforest is a vibrant education centre which provides learning opportunities and training as well as a friendly, sociable, working atmosphere and flexible hours during term time and occasional school holidays.
Main duties:
- Manage all school and educational group booking enquiries via telephone and email.
- Coordinate booking schedules and maintain an accurate excel of visits.
- Liaise with teachers and group organisers to confirm visit details, make recommendations and support educational requirements, and special requests.
- Prepare booking confirmations and visitor documentation.
- Coordinate with education and front of house staff
- Update databases, ensuring all information is accurate
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via telephone and email
Key skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive professional ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent telephone and organisational skills to ensure records are up to date
- Competent on Excel spreadsheet
- Able to use initiative and work independently whilst equally being comfortable working within a diverse team of staff, volunteers, and other departmental managers.
