Contract: Long-Term Supply Position (September 2026 – July 2027)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Colwyn Bay for a Welsh-Speaking ALN Teaching Assistant to support children within a Nursery class. This is a full-time position running from September 2026 until July 2027, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a real difference in young learners' educational journeys.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) within a Nursery setting.
- Working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support.
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, and educational development.
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting Welsh language development throughout the school day.
Requirements
- Fluent Welsh speaker.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Knowledge or experience of supporting children with ALN is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
