Are you a positive, creative and caring person who loves bringing smiles to others? At Brantley Manor Care Home, we're looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities that help our residents stay active, connected and happy.
This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. One day you could be organising a craft session, the next arranging entertainers, leading a quiz, helping residents enjoy a trip out, or supporting a special celebration with families and friends.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering a varied programme of activities for residents
- Encouraging participation and supporting residents' individual interests
- Organising themed events, celebrations and community visits
- Working closely with residents, families and the wider care team
- Promoting physical, social and emotional wellbeing through meaningful engagement
- Supporting occasional weekend events and special occasions
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a friendly, outgoing and compassionate nature
- Is creative and enjoys thinking of new ideas
- Has good organisational and communication skills
- Can motivate and encourage others to get involved
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has previous experience in activities, care, hospitality or a customer-facing role (desirable but not essential)
