There’s no sign of our growth slowing down, so we are on the lookout for a highly motivated, bookkeeper that shares our entrepreneurial mindset.
The Role
Joining as a bookkeeper you will be responsible for the complete management and oversight of day-to-day financial record keeping, transactional accounting, and financial administration. You will be expected to demonstrate long-term ownership and leadership of all bookkeeping activities.
This role will involve:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
· Oversee purchase and sales ledgers
· Manage bank reconciliations
· Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded and allocated
· Maintain fixed asset registers and prepayment schedules
· Act as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping matters
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
· Take ownership of bookkeeping systems and controls
The Successful Applicant

We require someone who:
· Always adopts a positive mindset

· Possesses excellent attention to detail
· Enjoys and sees the benefit in developing others
· Capable of building strong relationships internally and externally
· Able to remain calm under pressure
· AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience
· Experience working within general practice is essential
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
· Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
