We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the operations of our nursery. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the nursery, including supervising staff, ensuring the health and safety of the setting, and maintaining high standards of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Years and excellent leadership skills.
Little Leaders Martlesham forms part of a small group of 6 nurseries around Suffolk. The position will report to our Area manager and lead a team of 12 practitioners and be part of the group management team. Our business support team manages finances and funding, so the manager can concentrate on the delivery of education and care.
You will need:
At least one years' experience in a management/leadership role within Early Years.
A relevant Level 3 qualification or higher
At least one years' experience of leading a team
The candidate must have an understanding of the following:
The content of the EYFS framework
Age and Stage appropriate behaviours
Safeguarding
SEN
Health and Safety in relation to the environment
Hours:
38 hours a week, Monday - Friday (51 weeks of the year). You must be able to work between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm ( specific shifts between those times)
