Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. the right candidate must be physically fit, due to heavey lifting.
Duties
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods.
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting as required, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer demands.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are free from hazards.
- Assist in stock management, including restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Strong materials handling skills, with the ability to lift heavy items safely.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is beneficial; relevant training may be provided.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
