Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planner to develop, maintain, and monitor the construction schedule for a major Carbon Capture project at Wilton International. The role will be responsible for producing detailed project programmes, implementing planning controls, and providing accurate progress reporting to ensure the successful delivery of a 6km pipeline installation. The successful candidate will have previous construction industry experience and be proficient in Primavera P6.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update the project construction schedule using Primavera P6
- Produce detailed Gantt charts and project programmes
- Establish and maintain effective planning and project control systems
- Monitor project progress against the agreed schedule and identify any deviations or risks
- Prepare and issue weekly project reports, including programme status, progress updates, S Curves, key milestones, risks, and schedule performance
- Produce regular planning updates and progress reports for project stakeholders
- Work closely with project management and site teams to ensure accurate programme information and reporting
- Support the implementation of planning strategies that contribute to the successful delivery of the project

- Deliver accurate and reliable project schedules that support safe and efficient project execution
- Maintain robust planning controls throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide timely and accurate weekly project reporting and progress measurement to stakeholders
- Proactively identify programme risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate mitigation measures
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the Carbon Capture project within agreed timescales
Competency Requirements
- Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience producing and managing construction schedules and Gantt charts
- Understanding of project planning, progress measurement, project control, and performance reporting
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Other Requirements
- Previous experience working on engineering projects - essential
- Experience on pipeline, infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects - preferred
- Experience working on large-scale engineering or Carbon Capture projects - preferred
Pay: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
