Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team, providing exceptional cleaning services to residential clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private homes, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our clients. Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all designated areas within clients’ homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets and rugs, mop floors, and polish furniture as required
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently
- Organise cleaning schedules in coordination with clients’ preferences and needs
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in hotel or commercial cleaning roles is advantageous
- Skills in cooking or customer service are considered beneficial but are not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail is essential for delivering high-quality service
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent organisational skills
