Job Title: Gas Boiler Installer
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend availability
Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Boiler Installer to join our team of heating professionals. This role involves the installation, replacement, and commissioning of domestic gas boilers and heating systems in residential properties. The ideal candidate will take pride in high-quality workmanship, customer service, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, replace, and commission gas boilers and central heating systems to a high standard.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and rectify installation issues where required.
- Ensure compliance with current gas safety regulations, building regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
- Complete all necessary documentation and certification, such as Gas Safety Certificates and installation reports.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and respect customers’ homes at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication on job progress and expectations.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and office staff to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Gas Safe Registered (or eligible to be registered)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
- Proven experience in domestic boiler installation (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of current legislation, safety protocols, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
- Unvented hot water certification (G3)
- Experience with a range of boiler manufacturers and smart heating controls
- Basic electrical knowledge related to boiler installations
