Manage My Courses
Location: Chelmsford, UK (with travel to clients and industry events)
Type: Full-time | Package: Base + commission, with performance incentives reviewed as the business grows
The one-line pitch
We built the all-in-one platform that runs any training business end to end: courses, sessions, bookings,
payments, qualifications, partners, commissions, and reporting. Your job is to put it in front of training
providers everywhere and turn demos into customers.
About the product
Manage My Courses (MMC) is a multi-tenant SaaS for anyone who sells and delivers training:
independent training providers, commercial course businesses, corporate academies, compliance and
safety trainers, professional development firms, and vocational qualification centres. Whatever the subject,
it replaces the spreadsheet-and-chasing chaos these businesses live in:
- Bookings with automatic invoicing and payment collection
- Session scheduling with auto-generated online meeting links, in person or online
- Delegate management: attendance, transfers, documents, certificates
- Optional qualification tooling: awarding bodies, portfolios, AI-assisted grading
- Partner, broker, and reseller portals with custom pricing
- Automated sales commissions, tags and rules
- Profitability, analytics, and customer mapping
- Integration-ready by design: it connects to the accounting, payment, and meeting tools customers
already run, and its API can link to virtually anything else
It's live, in production, with thousands of users. The demo sells itself once it's in front of the right person.
Getting it in front of the right person is your job.
The market
Every industry trains: first aid, health and safety, IT, leadership, compliance, trades, wellness, professional
development. If a business schedules courses, takes bookings, and chases payments, they're a prospect.
The territory is wide open and the earning potential scales with it.
The role
You're the first dedicated salesperson, working to a strategy set with the founder:
- You own your number. Pipeline, demos, closes, and the follow-through that keeps customers happy.
- You work the full cycle. Prospect, qualify, demo, close, hand over cleanly to onboarding.
- You help build the playbook. Your outreach, demo notes, and objection handling become the
foundation the next hires learn from.
- You feed back what the market says. Win/loss reasons, feature requests, pricing reactions, reported
clearly so the founder can make good product decisions.

- You demo like you mean it. We have a full demo deck and pain-point playbook ready; you'll learn the
product deeply and make the pitch your own.
What you'll do
First 90 days
- Learn the product and the pains it solves (we'll immerse you)
- Build your prospect list within the target segments we agree together
- Run demos with the founder, then solo
- Close your first accounts and document what worked
By month 6
- A consistent pipeline and a repeatable sales motion with real conversion data
- Clear, honest forecasting the founder can plan around
- Growing presence where training businesses gather: events, communities, LinkedIn
Beyond
Hit the numbers and the role grows with the revenue: better incentives, and the opportunity to help train
the next salesperson. Progression is earned through results, not promised up front.
The attitude we're hiring
We want someone who works with the care and accountability of an owner:
- You take full responsibility for your pipeline and your number, no excuses
- You treat company money like your money and company reputation like your name
- You chase loose ends without being asked and follow up like clockwork
- You give bad news fast and good news with evidence
- You see a “no” as data: log it, learn from it, route around it
Who you probably are
- 3+ years selling B2B SaaS full-cycle (prospect ® demo ® close), OR you've worked inside a training
business and know the operational pain firsthand
- You run a confident live software demo and handle objections without rattling
- Comfortable selling to owner-operators, training managers, and ops leads
- Organized: CRM hygiene, disciplined follow-ups, forecasts you actually believe
- Plus: a network anywhere in the training world
- Plus: experience being an early sales hire at a small company
What you get
- Base salary plus commission. Earnings tied directly to the results you deliver.
- Direct access to the founder, fast decisions, no layers
- A product that genuinely works, with a live install base and reference-quality customers
- A wide-open market and first-mover advantage inside the company: as revenue grows, the incentives
and the role grow with it
