Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Support medication administration processes by labeling, packaging, and organizing prescriptions with precision.
Engage with patients by providing friendly, informative assistance and answering basic medication-related questions.
Maintain meticulous records of medication inventory, expiration dates, and stock levels to ensure safety and compliance.
Help manage pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, verifying information, and ensuring proper documentation.
Participate in maintaining a clean, organised workspace that adheres to all safety and hygiene standards.
Contribute to patient care by supporting medication counseling sessions under supervision when appropriate.
Qualifications
Secondary School diploma or equivalent; ongoing education in pharmacy or healthcare-related fields is a plus.
Previous experience in pharmacy is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to ensure accuracy in medication handling.
Effective communication skills for engaging with patients and team members confidently.
