Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent serving skills
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage handling
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and measurements
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods
- Experience with restaurant POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude
