About the Role
Urban Gamers is an exciting new mobile gaming party business bringing the latest gaming experiences to birthday parties, schools and events across Essex and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to drive our gaming van, host parties and deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
During the summer holidays, work may be available up to 7 days a week. After the summer, the role will become primarily weekends, school holidays and occasional weekday bookings, with more hours available as the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Drive the gaming van safely to and from events.
- Set up and check all gaming equipment.
- Host gaming parties and engage with children and parents.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Keep the van clean and presentable.
- Carry out basic vehicle safety checks.
Requirements
- ✅ 25 years of age or over (insurance requirement).
- ✅ Full UK driving licence.
- ✅ Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- ✅ Confident driving a large van.
- ✅ Friendly, professional and reliable.
- ✅ Good with children.
- ✅ Available to work weekends, school holidays and some evenings.
- ✅DBS check
What We Offer
- £14.50 per hour.
- Guaranteed minimum of 5 hours’ pay per booking, even if the event is shorter.
